Hailing from the picturesque coastal city of Savannah, Georgia, Lexi Dixon is a rising artist whose music seamlessly blends elements of pop, folk, jazz, country, and Christian influences. Her evocative performances and heartfelt storytelling have captivated audiences, earning her praise from industry professionals like Tara Simon of Tara Simon Studios, who described her vocals as “angelic, sweet, ethereal, and soaring in the air like a hot air balloon floating in the sky.”
Lexi’s love affair with music began in childhood, inspired by watching American Idol and learning to play piano from the late Mrs. Emily Kehler. Despite her deep passion, extreme shyness kept her from stepping into the spotlight as a singer. It wasn’t until the COVID-19 pandemic brought her home from the University of Georgia that music took an unexpected turn in her life. With time to explore her creative side, she began experimenting with the ukulele and guitar.
This quiet hobby soon evolved into a calling—one that she could no longer ignore.
Her hidden talent didn’t stay secret for long. When her family discovered her recordings, their overwhelming encouragement gave her the confidence to pursue music seriously. This newfound determination led her to the Wilde School of Music in 2021, where she trained under esteemed vocal coach Julie Wilde. Through dedicated mentorship and relentless practice, Lexi honed a unique sound that is both ethereal and deeply expressive.
Since then, she has graced some of Savannah’s most renowned stages, including The Tybee Post Theatre, the Riverside Marriott, The Marshall House, and District Live, captivating audiences with her soul-stirring voice. But performing is only part of her journey. Lexi is also deeply immersed in the creative process, working on original music that reflects her faith and resonates with listeners at every stage of life.
